Job summary

Atlas Copco's Specialty Rental Division North America, based in the United States, seeks a Field Service Engineer to provide expert repair services for our technology solutions, ensuring uptime and safety. You will be stationed in the US, travel to customer sites across your territory, and document work with company hardware and software.

The role emphasizes learning, mobility, and a strong compensation package, reflecting expertise and dedication to customer success.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of experience as an industrial field service mechanic.
• Electromechanical degree or training.
• Experience with maintenance, overhaul, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic systems.
• Good command of English; second language is a bonus.
• Comfort with lifting up to 50 lbs and working in diverse industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Customer Support Manager.
• Maintain fleet in the field.
• Repair down equipment in the field and at customer locations.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment throughout the territory.
• Develop and optimize efficient processes and routines.
• Improve measurable success to business targets.
• Document all work performed daily using company hardware and software.

You will

• You have 2 - 3+ years of experience as an industrial related field service mechanic
• You have an appropriate electromechanical degree or training
• You have demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, overhaul and repair of different industrial equipment including electrical, hydraulics and/or pneumatics
• You have a good command in English and a second language knowledge is a bonus
• You have high energy levels
• You will be expected to lift up to 50lbs and work in industrial environments including extremes in temperature with walking, standing, reaching, bending, and kneeling

Job location

You will be part of our customer center in Aledo, TX. You will join a dynamic field service team, working remotely and spending a significant amount of time traveling to visit customers within your designated area, United States (US).
