Job summary

Atlas Copco North America LLC is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Gonzales, LA, to deliver expert repair services and ensure uptime for customer equipment. You will travel to sites, service and maintain fleets, and document activities using company systems.

The role requires 2-3+ years of industrial field service experience, an electromechanical background, and strong English communication. This hybrid position involves significant travel within the United States and a competitive benefits

Qualifications

• Industrial field service experience is required or highly preferred.
• Electromechanical degree or equivalent training is expected.
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic and/or pneumatic maintenance and repair.
• Good command of English; second language is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Repair down equipment in the field and at customer locations.
• Maintain fleet in the field and perform preventive maintenance.
• Report to the Customer Support Manager and document work daily.
• Develop efficient processes and measureable improvements toward targets.

Your role

Your mission as the Field Service Engineer is to provide expert repair services for our technology solutions, delivering unmatched customer satisfaction and upholding the highest standards of safety. You are committed to ensuring the performance and longevity of your customers technology through your expertise. Your work is important for supporting the operational success and technological advancement of industries relying on these technologies.

You will

• Report directly to the Customer Support Manager.
• Maintain fleet in the field
• Repair down equipment in the field and at customer locations
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment throughout the territory
• Develop and optimize efficient processes and routines
• Improve measureale success to business targets
• Document all work performed daily by using company provided hardware and software

• You have 2 - 3+ years of experience as an industrial related field service mechanic
• You have an appropriate electromechanical degree or training
• You have demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, overhaul and repair of different industtrial equipment including electrical, hydraulics and/or pneumatics
• You have a good command in English and a second language knowledge is a bonus
• You have high energy levels
• You will be expected to lift up to 50lbs and work in industrial environments including extremes in temperature with walking, standing, reaching, bending, and kneeling

You will be part of our customer center in Gonzales, LA. You will join a dynamic field service team, working in a hybrid role and spending a significant amount of time traveling to visit customers within your designated area,United States (US).
