Job summary

Atlas Copco North America LLC is seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver expert repair services and ensure customer uptime across the United States. You will operate from the Aledo, TX area, travel to customer sites, and support in-field installations and maintenance.

The role requires 2-3+ years in industrial field service and an electromechanical background; strong English skills are essential, with a bonus for additional languages.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of experience as an industrial related field service mechanic.
• Electromechanical degree or training is required.
• Experience in maintenance, overhaul and repair of electrical, hydraulic and/or pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Customer Support Manager.
• Maintain fleet in the field and repair down equipment at customer locations.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment throughout the territory.
• Develop and optimize efficient processes and routines.
• Improve measurable success to business targets.
• Document all work daily using company hardware and software.

You will

• Report directly to the Customer Support Manager.
• Maintain fleet in the field
• Repair down equipment in the field and at customer locations
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment throughout the territory
• Develop and optimize efficient processes and routines
• Improve measurablesuccess to business targets
• Document all work performed daily by using company provided hardware and software

• You have 2 - 3+ years of experience as an industrial related field service mechanic
• You have an appropriate electromechanical degree or training
• You have demonstrated expertise in the maintenance, overhaul and repair of different industrial equipment including electrical, hydraulics and/or pneumatics
• You have a good command in English and a second language knowledge is a bonus
• You have high energy levels
• You will be expected to lift up to 50lbs and work in industrial environments including extremes in temperature with walking, standing, reaching, bending, and kneeling

Job location

You will be part of our customer center in Aledo, TX. You will join a dynamic field service team, working remotely and spending a significant amount of time traveling to visit customers within your designated area, United States (US).
