MacLean-Fogg seeks a hands-on Field Service Technician to install, commission, troubleshoot, and optimize solar tracking systems at utility-scale PV plants across the United States. Travel to project sites is extensive, with on-site work and direct customer interaction as you support installation teams.

You’ll train crews, perform QA/QC inspections, and diagnose equipment using SCADA and testing tools. A technical degree and 2+ years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of technical, field service or renewable energy experience preferred.
• Associate's or technical degree preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform hands-on field work.

Responsabilités

• Commission and verify OMCO Solar products at power plants.
• Train installation crews on best practices and methods.
• Conduct QA/QC inspections and verify installations.
• Perform startup activities and ensure systems operate correctly.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues on site or remotely.
• Use tracker monitoring apps to diagnose customer concerns and actions.
• Travel extensively to project sites across the U.S.
• Prepare service reports and maintain detailed records.
