Flow Control Group is seeking a Service Technician to repair and maintain rotating equipment at our West Springfield facility or at customer sites. The role emphasizes safety, precise measurements, and thorough documentation of work performed.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, operate a forklift, and travel locally with occasional overnight trips. Strong mechanical skills and customer-service orientation are essential for success in this hands-on position.

Qualifications

• Proficient in operating a forklift and handling heavy equipment safely.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot rotating equipment.
• Excellent customer service mindset and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of rotating equipment, including pumps, gear boxes, valves, blowers, and vacuum pumps.
• Work may be performed at our West Springfield, MA facility or at a customer's site.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and complete required paperwork.
• Assist with pump removal/installation, shaft alignment, vibration analysis, lubrication, and related tasks.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and document inspection reports.
