Job summary

Bloom Energy, a solid oxide fuel cell company, seeks a Field Service Technician (FST) to join its world-class team. This remote employee will travel to multiple sites within the service district to provide fuel cell service and perform on-site maintenance and diagnostics.

You will operate a service vehicle, follow safety standards, and produce detailed service reports. Training in San Jose, CA is required; strong electrical troubleshooting and autonomous work are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 6 years in electrical/controls fields.
• Technical diploma or journeyman/electrician certification with 4 years related experience.
• 5+ years in commercial electrical with electrical-related military experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide fuel cell service during field visit dispatches.
• Operate a service vehicle safely.
• Create daily workflows and work autonomously from scheduled tasks.
• Perform on-site preventative maintenance, repair, test, and diagnostics.
• Follow procedures and protocols and diagnose issues.
• Maintain and build positive customer relations and deliver detailed service reports.
