Job summary

Bloom Energy is seeking a Field Service Technician to join its remote field office team. The role involves providing hands-on fuel cell service across multiple sites, traveling regularly, and maintaining detailed service reports.

The ideal candidate has strong electrical troubleshooting skills, OSHA/NFPA 70E safety awareness, and experience reading schematics. Must be able to lift up to 50–70 lbs and work autonomously in a distributed service district.

Qualifications

• 6 years’ experience in electrical, process controls, or electro-mechanical fields.
• Or 4 years with Journeyman/Electrician Certifications.
• Ability to travel within a large service district.
• Able to read and interpret electrical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Provide fuel cell service during field visit dispatches.
• Operate a service vehicle safely.
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and implement solutions.
• Maintain service reports and on-site documentation.
• Travel within Service District as required.
