Job summary

Bloom Energy, a leader in solid oxide fuel cell technology, seeks a Field Service Technician to join its remote field office. You will travel to multiple sites, perform on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs, and ensure adherence to safety and procedural standards.

The role requires strong electrical troubleshooting skills, the ability to work autonomously, and effective communication with customers and internal teams. Occasional international travel may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 6 years’ electrical/electro-mechanical experience
• Technical diploma or Journeyman/Electrician certification with 4+ years in field service
• 5+ years relevant electrical experience including military electrical roles

Responsibilities

• Provide fuel cell service during field visit dispatches
• Operate a service vehicle safely
• Create daily workflows from scheduled tasks
• Conduct on-site preventative maintenance, repair, testing and diagnostics
• Follow company procedures and protocols
• Diagnose errors and implement solutions
• Maintain relationships with customers and share findings with team
