SWS Equipment, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to install, repair, troubleshoot, maintain, and retrofit equipment at customer sites or in the shop.

You will read hydraulic and electrical schematics and work with dispatchers to ensure timely service, with on-the-job and manufacturer training provided. The role involves travel up to 25% and advancement through four technician levels, with company-paid certifications and access to career growth in service management.

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level experience is highly preferred.
• Strong mechanical repair skills with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Proficiency with technology and technical systems.
• Demonstrates a proactive approach to problem-solving and learning.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow hydraulic, electrical schematic drawings and technical specifications.
• Prepare new equipment for delivery to customers.
• Provide guidance for improvement and proper equipment operation.
• Assemble, test, and service systems and components.
• Travel to customer sites up to 25% as needed.
• Manage workflow to meet customer-required dates.
• Complete paperwork for billing and reports.
