Job summary

Swiderski Equipment Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain agriculture and construction equipment. Work may occur in the shop or on customer sites, with travel for training and meetings as needed.

You will perform diagnostics, installations, and preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, and ensure work is completed safely and professionally while documenting parts and labor for customers.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and technical aptitude (experience preferred).
• Interest or experience in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical systems.
• Ability to use standard desktop computer applications.
• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel for training and meetings, as needed.
• Must provide own basic hand tools.
• Prior experience in agriculture, diesel, or heavy equipment service strongly desired.
• Agriculture background a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain agriculture and construction equipment to keep customers productive.
• Work may take place in the shop or at customer locations.
• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance following procedures and standards.
• Install, set up, and prepare equipment for customers and dealer inventory.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Complete repairs safely and professionally in a timely manner.
• Document work performed, parts used, and labor accurately.
• Provide outstanding customer service when working with customers.
• Travel to customer sites, trainings, and meetings as needed.
