Job summary

American Access, Inc. in Charlotte, NC seeks a hands-on Field Service Technician to install and service modular aluminum access ramps. You will travel locally using a company vehicle, take measurements, install ramps, and provide excellent customer service.

Competitive $22-$23/hr, full benefits after 90 days, and paid training. Outdoor work, steady full-time hours, and growth within a national company. You’ll handle tools, maintenance, reports, and collaborate with warehouse staff to schedule

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in construction or home services.
• Comfortable with hand and power tools (e.g., tape measure, drill, saw).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work outdoors.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; pass background/drug screen.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• ADA knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Travel locally to customer sites using a company vehicle.
• Perform home evaluations and take ramp installation measurements.
• Install aluminum ramps and safety equipment per specs.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Maintain tools, vehicle, and equipment in good condition.
• Complete simple job reports on tablet or smartphone.
• Support warehouse with product inventory and scheduling.
