Job summary

Herc Rentals in Memphis, TN seeks a Field Service Technician- Pump, Power & HVAC to service fleet at customer sites and perform preventative maintenance. You will diagnose and repair heavy equipment, troubleshoot fuel, electrical, hydraulic, and propane systems, and educate customers on proper usage.

You will work independently, build positive customer relationships, and document service activities while adhering to safety guidelines and company procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read schematics and manuals.
• Own a basic set of hand and electrical tools.
• Valid driver's license and on-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet at customer sites.
• Conduct oil changes, lubrication, tire and battery work.
• Diagnose and repair heavy equipment on site.
• Troubleshoot fuel, electrical, hydraulic, and propane systems.
• Produce detailed service reports and logs.
