Job summary

ProPump & Controls Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician in the Nashville area to service, install, and repair automated pump stations and related equipment.

You will identify opportunities to upsell equipment and services and coordinate with regional managers to secure orders. The role requires troubleshooting skills, the ability to read schematics, and hands-on experience with pump systems, PLC/VFD controls, and telemetry networks.

Qualifications

• Must communicate with customers professionally and provide excellent service.
• Ability to read wiring schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical literature.
• Read, interpret, and apply electrical/mechanical knowledge for pumps and controls.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on automated pump systems.
• Install pump stations, pumps, and motors using cranes and heavy equipment.
• Set up telemetry networks using radios, cellular modems, or DSL.
• Perform preventive maintenance on pump stations and components.
• Promote and sell company products and services to customers.
