We are hiring a Part-Time Field Service Technician (up to 35 hours/month) to provide routine technical maintenance and service in retail locations within 100 miles of DMA, Orlando, FL. Flexible hours.

Principle Accountabilities

1. Maintain, troubleshoot, and replace software/hardware as needed in all assigned locations. Provide detailed reports of visits to PRN/STRATACACHE HD.
2. Maintain detailed records of each site visit, generate daily/weekly reports.
3. Prioritize and complete all work following established policies and guidelines.
4. Develop and maintain positive relationships with site management and staff to facilitate problem resolution and compliance support.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification or college degree preferred. 1-2 years of relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with consumer electronics, computers, and networking; prior POS troubleshooting experience is a plus.
• Enthusiastic self-starter with excellent communication skills, reliability, and accuracy. Motivated to work independently.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, organizational, and time management skills.
• Physical ability to climb a 6’ ladder, lift 30 lbs, and use basic hand and power tools.
• Superior customer service skills, with effective communication with store management, help desk, and PRN management.
