Job summary

Hugg and Hall Equipment Company is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Tech to perform field service on material handling equipment within a designated territory. You will conduct preventative maintenance, communicate progress with customers and teammates, and uphold safety standards in varying environments.

Qualified candidates have 6–12 months of hands-on service experience, own essential tools, and possess valid driver's license and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months to 1 year hands-on experience as a service technician/mechanic in the material handling equipment industry, or mechanical training/education.
• Own complete line of tools including specialized tools needed to complete the job at the customer site.
• Basic computer skills; valid driver's license with clean record.
• High school diploma or equivalent and willingness to work in the field.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on various types of construction equipment in the field to prolong its lifespan.
• Continuously communicate with customers and co-workers regarding job progress and updates.
• Maintain a safe working environment and observe safety laws and policies on-site and when operating company vehicles.
