Job summary

Hugg and Hall Equipment Company is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Tech to perform field service on material handling equipment within a designated territory across Arkansas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma.

You will conduct preventative maintenance on construction equipment, communicate with customers and team members, and ensure a safe, compliant work environment. A basic mechanical background, own tools, and a driving record are required, with training and certification opportunities available.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year hands-on experience as a service technician/mechanic in material handling equipment or mechanical training/education.
• Own complete line of tools including specialized tools for customer sites.
• Basic computer skills.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on various types of construction equipment in the field.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers (Salespeople, Coordinators, Managers) regarding job progress and updates.
• Maintain a safe working environment and observe safety policies and rules on-site and while operating company vehicles.
