Job summary

JDC Power Systems, LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician FSR2 to join our team and support field operations. You will perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and industrial controls at client sites, with increased independence for FSR2 tasks.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with power systems, electrical equipment, and industrial controls, and is committed to delivering high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; technical associate degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of hands-on field service experience with power systems or electrical equipment.
• Experience with PLCs, SCADA, transformers, LV/MV switchgear, and protective relays is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems and industrial controls at client sites.
• Diagnose on-site issues with minimal supervision; perform inspections and testing.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to handle complex service calls and escalate when needed.
• Document service activities, test results, and system performance.
