Job summary

JDC Power Systems, LLC is seeking an Entry-Level Field Service Technician (FSR1) to join our Richardson/Irving, TX team. You will assist with troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems at client sites, gaining hands-on experience under senior technicians.

The role requires a high school diploma (an associate degree is a plus) and 0–2 years of related experience, with certifications like NFPA 70E or OSHA 10 preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• An associate’s degree in electrical engineering or related field is a plus.
• NFPA 70E, OSHA 10 certifications preferred.
• 0-2 years field service or hands-on electrical experience.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and equipment helpful.
• Proficiency with standard electrical tools and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in troubleshooting, maintenance, and basic repair of electrical systems at client sites.
• Provide on-site support to senior technicians during service calls.
• Maintain logs of service activities, time tracking, and inventory.
• Adhere to OSHA guidelines, safety protocols, and certifications.
• Record observations and communicate issues to the lead technician.
