Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Field Service Technician to join our team in a role that combines field work with advanced diagnostics and customer interaction. You will troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery, including PLCs, three-phase motors, drives, hydraulics, and pneumatics, while conducting preventive maintenance and improving equipment efficiency.

This permanent, full-time position requires extensive travel and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of field service technician experience.
• Extensive knowledge of PLC, three-phase motors, drives, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Proven maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
• Excellent technical and mechanical skills; strong problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.
• Must live within one hour of a major airport.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment including PLC, motors, drives, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose malfunctions using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients, addressing queries and concerns.
• Maintain accurate service records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Ensure safety regulations and protocols are followed during field operations.
• Collaborate with engineering to implement machinery efficiency improvements.
