Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a field service technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain beverage dispensing equipment at customer sites in the Harrisburg area. You will set up vending, cooling, and fountain units, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

You will educate customers on basic repairs, schedule service calls, manage parts on your service truck, and document each visit. A valid driver's license and EPA refrigeration certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments.
• EPA Section 608 Certification is required for handling refrigerants.
• Refrigeration Type I/II certifications are required where applicable.

Quick Look

• Pay: $31.50 per hour

• Location: Harrisburg, PA

• Work Days: Wednesday - Saturday

• Start Time: 10:30 am

• End Time: 9 pm

Install and troubleshoot beverage equipment to keep beloved brands like Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina flowing at customer locations safely and on time.

What You’ll Do

• Install, set up, and perform preventative maintenance on vending, cooling, and/or fountain equipment
• Diagnose equipment issues and use good judgment to determine the best repair or replacement option
• Educate customers on basic equipment repair and upkeep procedures
• Prioritize and schedule service and preventative maintenance calls to meet customer service windows
• Drive to customer locations, evaluate situations, and perform necessary work (may include plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, and carpentry)
• Remove old parts and replace with new parts; maintain parts inventory on your service truck
• Collect accurate equipment and customer information and complete documentation after each call (training provided)
• Build positive relationships with customer contacts at service calls through clear communication and follow through
• Unload and reload equipment with products as needed, and transport miscellaneous items (e.g., compressors, recycling)

Minimum Qualifications

• 21 years or older
• Valid Driver's License and Personal Vehicle with Non-Excepted Interstate Status and Follow DOT regulations (Note: In all California locations except Stockton, both non-excepted intrastate and non-excepted interstate status are accepted for this position. In Stockton, CA, only non-excepted interstate status is accepted.)
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Position must be able to lift up to 50lbs (with or without accommodation)
• Position must be able to reach lift, carry, push and pull (with or without accommodation)
• Position requires kneeling, squatting, crouching, crawling and bending when making repairs, often in low places (with or without accommodation)
• Position requires EPA Section 608 Certification
• Position must be able to pass refrigeration certification Type I/Type II practices (if applicable)
