Job summary

PepsiCo, Inc. is seeking a field service technician to install, repair, and troubleshoot beverage equipment at customer locations across Allentown, PA.

You will work on vending, cooling, fountain, ice, and frozen beverage systems, routing lines and connecting product and water supplies, all while ensuring proper drainage and accurate mixtures. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, a valid CDL with Non-Excepted Interstate Status, EPA 608 and refrigeration Type I/II certifications, and strong

Responsibilities

• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on vending, cooling, fountain, ice, and frozen beverage equipment at customer accounts.
• Diagnose equipment issues and determine best repair or replacement solution.
• Install equipment by routing lines, connecting product, water and gas supply, and ensuring proper drainage; adjust mixtures.
• Prioritize and schedule service and preventative maintenance calls to meet customer service windows.
• Educate customers on basic equipment repair and upkeep, document each service call, and maintain parts inventory on your service truck.

• Work Days: Tuesday - Saturday
• Start Time: 12:00 pm
• End Time: 8:30 pm

Install and troubleshoot beverage equipment to keep beloved brands like Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina flowing at customer locations safely and on time.

What You’ll Do

• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on vending, cooling, fountain, ice, and frozen beverage equipment at customer accounts
• Diagnose equipment issues and use good judgment to determine the best repair or replacement solution
• Install equipment by routing lines, connecting product, water and gas supply, and ensuring proper drainage; fill and adjust equipment to the correct mixture
• Prioritize and schedule service and preventative maintenance calls to meet customer service windows
• Educate customers on basic equipment repair and upkeep, document each service call using provided tools, and maintain parts inventory on your service truck while building strong relationships at every account

Minimum Qualifications

• 21 years or older
• Valid CDL {} License with Non-Excepted Interstate Status and Follow DOT regulations (Note: In all California locations except Stockton, both non-excepted intrastate and non-excepted interstate status are accepted for this position. In Stockton, CA, only non-excepted interstate status is accepted.)
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Position must be able to lift up to 50lbs (with or without accommodation)
• Position must be able to reach lift, carry, push and pull (with or without accommodation)
• Position requires kneeling, squatting, crouching, crawling and bending when making repairs, often in low places (with or without accommodation)
• Position requires EPA Section 608 Certification
• Position must be able to pass refrigeration certification Type I/Type II practices (if applicable)
