PepsiCo is seeking an on-site Service Technician in Las Vegas, NV to install and troubleshoot beverage equipment at customer locations. You'll repair and maintain vending, cooling, fountain, ice, and frozen beverage units, diagnose issues, and determine repair vs.

replacement strategies while building strong customer relationships. Responsibilities include scheduling calls to meet service windows, documenting each service visit, and educating customers on basic repair and upkeep.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older
• Valid D10K Certification with Non-Excepted Interstate Status and DOT rules compliance (California note: Stockton restrictions)
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Lift up to 50 lbs (with or without accommodation)
• Reach, lift, carry, push and pull (with or without accommodation)
• Kneeling, squatting, crouching, crawling and bending during repairs
• EPA Section 608 Certification
• Refrigeration Certification Type I/II (if applicable)

Install and troubleshoot beverage equipment to keep beloved brands like Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina flowing at customer locations safely and on time.

What You’ll Do

• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on vending, cooling, fountain, ice, and frozen beverage equipment at customer accounts
• Diagnose equipment issues and use good judgment to determine the best repair or replacement solution
• Install equipment by routing lines, connecting product, water and gas supply, and ensuring proper drainage; fill and adjust equipment to the correct mixture
• Prioritize and schedule service and preventative maintenance calls to meet customer service windows
• Educate customers on basic equipment repair and upkeep, document each service call using provided tools, and maintain parts inventory on your service truck while building strong relationships at every account

Minimum Qualifications

• 21 years or older
• Valid D10K Certification with Non-Excepted Interstate Status and Follow DOT regulations (Note: In all California locations except Stockton, both non-excepted intrastate and non-excepted interstate status are accepted for this position. In Stockton, CA, only non-excepted interstate status is accepted.)
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Position must be able to lift up to 50lbs (with or without accommodation)
• Position must be able to reach lift, carry, push and pull (with or without accommodation)
• Position requires kneeling, squatting, crouching, crawling and bending when making repairs, often in low places (with or without accommodation)
• Position requires EPA Section 608 Certification
• Position must be able to pass refrigeration certification Type I/Type II practices (if applicable)
