Job summary

PepsiCo in Johnson City, TN is seeking an on-site Equipment Service Technician to install, troubleshoot and maintain beverage equipment at customer locations. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure proper drainage and mixtures while scheduling service calls to meet customer windows.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older and able to meet DOT guidelines.
• Valid CDL with Non-Excepted Interstate Status.
• EPA Section 608 Certification; Type I/II refrigeration knowledge.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong English communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot beverage equipment at customer locations.
• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on vending, cooling, fountain, ice, and frozen beverage equipment.
• Diagnose equipment issues and determine repair or replacement solutions.
• Route lines, connect product, water and gas, and ensure proper drainage.
• Fill and adjust equipment to correct mixture and quantities.
• Prioritize and schedule service calls to meet customer windows.
• Educate customers, document service calls, and manage truck inventory.
