Job summary

Atmos Energy Corporation seeks a field service associate to perform basic meter reading and basic customer service duties in the assigned area. You will respond to service requests, assist with connections and disconnections as operator qualified, and ensure customers understand work performed.

Qualifications

• Requires a general educational knowledge normally acquired through a high school diploma or GED.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license.
• Operator Qualifications (OQ) and on-the-job training (OJT) specific to Service Learning Path.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic work using clearly prescribed procedures.
• Responds to customer requests for service including connections/disconnections as operator qualified.
• Installs, programs, and operates Wireless Meter Reading (WMR) equipment.
• Completes and maintains accurate records and reports to comply with Company and regulatory requirements.
• May read meters and record usage for billing.
• May hold stand-by duty, work shifts, holidays, weekends, and emergency call outs.
