Job summary

Solenis is seeking a Service Technician to support the Green Bay/Appleton area. You will conduct basic lab tests, perform maintenance and installation of equipment, transfer chemicals, and monitor processes in paper and pulp mills.

You will keep records, report results, interface with customers, manage inventory, adjust feed levels, and complete mechanical and electrical repairs. The role is M-F day shift with possible weekend OT and offers growth opportunities in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Position is primarily M-F day shift but can include weekend OT hours.
• Minimum 2 years experience working on mechanical and electrical systems in an industrial environment.
• Chemical handling experience desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct basic lab tests, maintenance and installation of equipment, chemical transfers and process monitoring in paper and pulp mills.
• Keep detailed records of inventory, report results, and work safely.
• Perform routine testing and monitoring at the customer site including data entry and contribute to service report preparation.
• Interface with the customer to understand any issues with chemicals or equipment.
• Manage product inventory at the customer including deliveries to process units and offloading to customer tanks.
• Adjust chemical feed levels to meet optimal chemical performance based on routine testing and monitoring.
• Alert the site manager or support engineer of any problems or opportunities with the customer and begin troubleshooting.
• Conduct expanded testing of process variables to identify dosage improvements or mechanical impacts.
• Spec out, set up, maintain and troubleshoot monitoring and feed equipment.
• Work with the site team and customers to ensure optimal program performance.
• Complete mechanical and electrical equipment repairs.
