Job summary

Solenis is hiring a Service Technician to support the Green Bay/Appleton area. You will perform basic lab tests, maintain and install equipment, manage chemical transfers, and monitor processes in paper and pulp mills. Detailed recordkeeping and safe work practices are required.

The role is primarily a Monday–Friday day shift with possible weekend OT. A High School Diploma or GED is required, and 2+ years of industrial mechanical/electrical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum experience working on mechanical and electrical systems in an industrial setting.
• Chemical handling experience is a plus but not required.
• Day shift standard with potential weekend OT when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine testing and monitoring at customer sites and enter data.
• Interface with customers to resolve chemical or equipment issues.
• Manage inventory and adjust chemical feed levels for optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot problems and alert site management or engineers as needed.
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot monitoring and feed equipment.
• Complete mechanical and electrical repairs as required.

Solenis is looking for a Service Technician who will support the sales and service efforts in the Green Bay/Appleton Area. They will be responsible for conducting basic lab tests, maintenance and installation of equipment, chemical transfers and process monitoring in paper and pulp mills. They will be required to keep detailed records of inventory, report out results, and work safely.

• The primary resource who performs routine testing and monitoring at the customer site including data entry and contributes to service report preparation
• Interfaces with the customer to understand any issues with chemicals or equipment
• Manages product inventory at the customer including deliveries to process units and offloading to customer tanks Adjusts chemical feed levels to meet optimal chemical performance based on routine testing and monitoring.
• Alerts the site manager or support engineer of any problems or opportunities with the customer and begins to troubleshoot issues
• Conducts expanded testing of process variables to identify dosage improvements or mechanical impacts
• Specs out, sets up, maintains and troubleshoots monitoring and feed equipment
• Works with the site team and customers to ensure optimal program performance.
• Completes mechanical and electrical equipment repairs.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Position is primarily M-F day shift but can include weekend OT hours.
• Minimum 2 years experience working on mechanical and electrical systems in an industrial environment. Chemical handling experience desired but not required.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $52,760.00 and $77,374.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
