Job summary

Motion is seeking a Field Service Technician to fabricate belts, perform repairs, and install components at customer sites. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and provide technical support in a safe and professional manner.

Typical duties include rigging, operating shop equipment, and communicating with customers to ensure satisfaction. Requires travel within territory and driving company vehicles per policy.

Qualifications

• Technical degree required.
• 0–3 years related experience or equivalent.
• Ability to read measuring equipment and perform basic math.
• Excellent communication skills and customer-facing abilities.
• Willingness to drive company vehicles within one year; DOT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate belts in shop and install/repair conveyors.
• Perform rigging to move belt rolls and tooling.
• Diagnose problems and repair or replace parts at customer sites.
• Provide on-site service and technical support, including 24/7 on-call.
