Job summary

NOV is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site maintenance, testing and repair of equipment at customer sites in Dickinson, North Dakota. The role requires operating forklifts, handling parts, and maintaining accurate service documentation.

You will communicate with customers and team members, work flexible shifts, and travel as needed. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of field service experience, basic math skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years’ experience as a Field Service Technician
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of pump, midstream, and production equipment preferred
• Must read and follow written and oral instructions
• Must be able to travel and work flexible shifts
• Able to communicate in English (written and spoken)
• Able to operate basic office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Must be able to stand 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Identify and use all ALS, Choke, Closure, and pump tools, products and services
• Receive paperwork and any instructions related to job
• Maintain service reports and related documentation
• Perform, verify, and inspect equipment at customer site
• Install, evaluate, test, repair equipment and products
• Provide troubleshooting as necessary
• Operate a forklift and lifting devices for movement of parts
