Job summary

WillScot is seeking a Service Technician to inspect and repair modular buildings, including framing, electrical, plumbing, and finishing work. You will ensure safety and quality in every task while maintaining clean, organized work areas and reliable vehicle operation.

The role requires carpentry knowledge, the ability to work independently, strong communication skills, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record. Training and benefits are provided for a long-term career path.

Qualifications

• Must have carpentry knowledge and experience.
• Some knowledge of computers is necessary and good communications skills are required for dealing with customers, sales people, contractors, shop personnel as well as Williams Scotsman employees at various branch locations.
• A current valid driver's license and a clean record are required.

Responsibilities

• Act in accordance with Williams Scotsman's Safety, Transportation, and Environmental Policies.
• Lead and promote employee health and safety results through safer workplace practices, training and observations.
• Attend periodic safety meetings and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Operate a company vehicle safely and maintain a valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
• Perform repairs to mobile office trailers including framing, electrical, plumbing, painting, running gear and other facets of modular building repair.
• Inspect off-rented buildings and create floor plan drawings as needed.
• Provide courteous customer service over the phone and in person and explain repairs to customers.
• Ensure trailers are ready for scheduled delivery dates at quality levels.
