Job summary

WillScot is seeking a Service Technician to inspect and repair modular buildings across our fleet. You will perform framing, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and related tasks with a focus on quality and safety.

You should have a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and carpentry experience. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with branch staff to ensure on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment is a must.
• Good communication with customers, sales, contractors, and colleagues is required.
• Carpentry knowledge and experience are required; electrical, plumbing, and welding experience is a plus.
• Current valid driver’s license with clean driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings and perform repairs including framing, finish carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and related tasks on modular buildings.
• Lead and promote safety by adhering to company policies and participating in safety initiatives.
• Attend periodic safety meetings and keep a clean, organized work area.
• Operate a company vehicle safely and maintain a valid driver’s license and excellent driving record.
• Perform check-in/out inspections and ensure repairs meet quality standards; assist with floor plan drawings as needed.
• Provide courteous customer service over the phone and in person; explain repairs and services clearly.
