Job summary

WillScot seeks a Service Technician to inspect and repair modular buildings, including framing, carpentry, electrical, plumbing and finishing tasks. You will ensure safety, quality, and timely Deliveries, performing inspections and modifications as required across branch locations.

Ideal candidates bring carpentry knowledge, independence in fast-paced settings, and good communication skills; a valid driver's license and clean record are required to operate company vehicles.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Carpentry knowledge and experience; electrical, plumbing and welding a plus.
• A current valid driver's license and a clean record are required.

Responsibilities

• Repair mobile office trailers including framing, carpentry, electrical, flooring, plumbing, painting, running gear and other facets of modular building repair.
• Perform check-in/out inspections and determine repair scope for invoicing; create floor plan drawings as needed.
• Perform customer-requested modifications and maintain inventory levels of tools and parts.
• Provide courteous customer service and explain repairs to customers.
• Ensure trailers are ready for scheduled deliveries at stated quality levels.
• Complete paperwork for deliveries, pickups and service calls; conduct HVAC checks per guidelines.
