About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of industrial mobile equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, implementing effective solutions.

• Provide technical support and training to customer operators and maintenance staff.

• Manage and maintain an inventory of spare parts and tools in your service vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with customers and the internal technical support team.
• Travel regularly to various customer locations within the designated service region.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or in a similar technical role.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic diagnostic skills.
• Experience with mobile equipment, heavy machinery, or industrial equipment repair.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the Welkom, Free State region and occasionally beyond.
• Relevant technical certifications or trade qualifications are highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
