Job summary

PALFINGER seeks a Field Service Specialist to service and repair customer equipment at customer locations. This field-based role travels across the United States to perform repairs on mobile bucket trucks, with a strong emphasis on independent, accountable work.

The position requires 2–3 years of mechanical experience, English proficiency, and the ability to travel up to 80% of the time. Company benefits include insurance, PTO, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 2–3 years mechanical experience or training with bucket trucks preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 80% across the eastern seaboard, Mon–Fri.
• Strong computer skills with Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; CRM experience.
• Must read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Travel to job sites and perform field service repairs, updates and troubleshooting for mobile bucket trucks.
• Perform maintenance as scheduled by regional manager.
• Schedule work and move to next task without supervision.
• Communicate mechanical issues and repairs to regional managers.
• Maintain daily service documentation: estimates, work orders, parts, labor and inventory.
