Job summary

PALFINGER is seeking a field service technician to diagnose and repair hydraulic and electrical systems on mobile bucket trucks across the eastern US. This role involves up to 80% travel and requires strong problem-solving abilities.

You will document work, manage schedules with the regional manager, and use Windows tools and a CRM to track estimates, parts, and labor. A high school diploma and hands-on mechanical experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–3 years of mechanical experience or formal training; bucket truck exposure preferred.
• Strong command of Windows-based tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and a CRM platform.
• Independent, proactive, and resourceful problem-solver.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

• Diagnose and correct hydraulic and electrical issues with minimal oversight.
• Complete assigned maintenance from the regional manager and keep work on schedule.
• Plan your day, prioritize service calls, and transition efficiently to the next task.
• Report mechanical findings and repair recommendations to regional leadership.
• Maintain impeccable documentation: estimates, authorizations, parts orders/receipts, labor time, and inventory records.
