Job summary

Stryker Group in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Field Service Technician – Neptune to service medical equipment across an assigned territory. You will travel in a company vehicle to hospitals and healthcare facilities to perform installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation, ensuring equipment operates safely and effectively.

The role requires independence in fast-paced settings and strong collaboration with clinical staff, sales, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with the ability to travel frequently within the territory, including overnight/weekend travel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to meet healthcare facility credentialing, safety, and PPE requirements.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks: standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with customers and internal partners to deliver exceptional service.
• Travel to hospitals and healthcare facilities for service requests, installations, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment to restore functionality.
• Install, maintain, and inspect medical equipment per guidelines and standards.
• Support software connectivity and system configuration as needed.
• Coordinate service schedules and communicate findings to customers and stakeholders.
• Document service activities and parts usage in company systems.
• Interpret manuals and engineering docs to resolve equipment issues.
• Work in healthcare environments, following PPE and safety requirements.
