Job summary

Baxter is seeking a Field Service Technician I for on-site work. You will prepare medical products for patient use, perform cleaning, checks, and minor repairs to ensure readiness across rental and customer-owned devices.

The role requires heavy lifting, driving a company vehicle, and flexible scheduling (Friday–Monday, 9:00 AM–7:30 PM). Baxter offers strong benefits and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• DOT physical card required to maintain compliance.

Responsibilities

• Move and inspect medical products in Baxter service centers, facilities, and homes.
• Troubleshoot and perform routine cleaning and maintenance on Baxter products.
• Provide on-call coverage up to 24/7 including weekends and holidays.
• Navigate devices like smartphone/tablet/PC to enter or retrieve information.
• Demonstrate Baxter product use to hospital staff and caregivers.
• Maintain a clean, 5S work environment and comply with safety protocols.
• Operate a company vehicle ranging from a cargo van to a 26,000‑lb truck.
• Lift and carry up to 65 pounds with proper safety procedures.
