Job summary

Getinge is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide maintenance and repair services at customer sites in the New Orleans, LA area. You will troubleshoot, maintain and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electronic equipment per manufacturer instructions, while supporting sales and contract renewals.

The role requires 3+ years of field service experience and an Associate's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent. A valid driver's license and ability to lift 75 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years field-based technical service or maintenance/repair experience, preferably in medical devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting, repair and technical support within assigned territory.
• Perform preventative maintenance per procedures using proper tools and replacement parts.
• Assist sales with Getinge equipment through joint calls and in-services.
• Maintain service contracts by delivering high-quality work and customer service.
• Prepare and submit reports within deadlines and meet KPI requirements.
• Work with customers and Getinge personnel to maintain positive relationships.
