Job summary
Abel Womack in Waterbury and surrounding area is seeking skilled Field Service Technicians to join our team. You will install, maintain, and repair Raymond battery-powered lift trucks and other automated material handling equipment in customer sites.
This position offers a company-issued service vehicle, extensive training, and long-term career growth within a well-established industry leader. Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 75 lbs are required.
Qualifications
- Experience as forklift technician or transferable electro-mechanical mechanic.
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and/or electrical equipment.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. regularly.
- Must provide your own basic mechanic tools; specialty tools provided.
Responsibilities
- Travel within assigned territory to install, maintain, and repair Raymond battery-powered lift trucks and related equipment.
- Work directly with customers to troubleshoot and resolve equipment challenges.
- Submit electronic work orders using a company-provided tablet.
- Represent Abel Womack with professionalism and excellent customer service.
