Area of Responsibility

• Perform travel to customer sites throughout the United States to perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and emergency services.
• Field Service Technician-Level 1 is a higher-level position that requires the ability to diagnose problems, determine the best solutions, interact with customers, submit reports, identify insights, and collaborate with engineering and parts teams.

Requirements

• Experience as a Field Service Technician in an industrial environment with electro-mechanical equipment (minimum 5 years).
• High school diploma or equivalent (minimum); Trade Certificate or Degree preferred.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and follow manufacturers’ specifications to disassemble, evaluate, assemble, and test industrial equipment.
• Basic math skills, proficiency in reading and writing in English, ability to fill out repair reports, and use measuring equipment.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, painting equipment, and basic shop equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work as part of a team.
• Good work ethic, positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and attention to quality and detail.
• Willingness to learn operation of forklifts and crane equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Physical ability to stand, crouch, kneel, and climb stairs.
• Ability to wear respirators, face masks, and other safety equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Legally permitted to work in the United States.
