Road Mechanic

Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a Road Mechanic. This role performs preventive maintenance, diagnoses, and makes advanced repairs at the customer's location to equipment such as aerial work platforms, general construction tools, large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas related equipment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training preferred
• 1-2 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines equipment
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; CDL may be required in some locations

Skills and Abilities:

• Possession of mechanic’s tools of trade
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems and troubleshooting
• Flexibility in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual abilities may be required based on location

The physical demands include bending, squatting, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required.

Compensation: Base pay range: $19.91 - 27.37 per hour. Starting rate may vary based on factors such as location, education, and experience.
