Job summary

WASH is seeking a Service Technician to perform on-site repairs of washers and dryers at customer locations within the assigned region. The role requires independent work with a strong mechanical aptitude and good English communication.

The ideal candidate will disassemble, inspect, and reassemble machines, replace worn parts, and keep parts clean and well-maintained. A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift heavy items are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and electrical knowledge helpful.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Must have good English communication (oral & written); Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Service washers and dryers at apartments, laundromats, hotels, athletic facilities, etc.
• Disassemble machines and examine mechanical and electrical parts
• Reassemble appliances, adjust pulleys, and lubricate moving parts
• Replace worn or defective parts and adjust motors
• Clean and wash parts
• Advise dispatch department of equipment that should be replaced
• Drive a company vehicle to and from work locations
