Job summary

Synerfac Inc. is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support installation, maintenance, and repair of advanced metal fabrication equipment, including laser cutting systems and press brakes, at customer locations in Mooresville, NC.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, plus troubleshooting skills. Travel to customer sites, provide training, and support demonstrations and trade shows.

Qualifications

Associate degree or technical training preferred.
Experience servicing industrial machinery.
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
Driver's license with clean record; willing to travel.
Proficient with precision measuring tools and alignment.

Responsibilities

Install, assemble, and commission metal fabrication machinery.
Perform start-up, testing, calibration, and adjustments.
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Conduct preventative maintenance and service at customer sites.
Identify electrical component failures and control circuits.
Perform mechanical alignment and troubleshooting of equipment.
Assist with loading/unloading and positioning of machinery.
Provide customer training on setup, operation, and basic maintenance procedures.
