Synerfac Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer II to install, commission, and service industrial laser cutting and press brake machinery at customer facilities in Mooresville, NC.

This hands-on role requires diagnosing equipment malfunctions, performing repairs, and providing training to customers to ensure safe, efficient operation. The position emphasizes travel, strong electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, and the ability to work independently while maintaining excellent customer

Formación

• Associate degree or technical training preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in industrial machinery service, maintenance, installation, or repair.
• Strong hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and fabrication systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical control circuits, motors, wiring, and industrial equipment components.
• Experience performing mechanical assembly, machine alignment, and equipment installation.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems, including pressure adjustments, flow controls, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with machine shop operations, drilling, tapping, and precision measuring tools.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and perform basic rigging tasks.
• Strong technical troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable working independently and managing service assignments with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work professionally with customers and coworkers.

Responsabilidades

• Install and configure laser cutting and press brake machinery at customer facilities.
• Perform start-up, commissioning, testing, and inspections.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose electrical control issues involving motors, fuses, wiring, coils, and machine control circuits.
• Provide hands-on instruction covering machine operation, programming, setup, and basic maintenance.
• Travel frequently to customer sites and assist with trade shows and demonstrations.
• Maintain service records and communicate findings and customer concerns.
• Assist with equipment movement, alignment, rigging, and installation activities.
• Support inspection, maintenance, and repairs at the company facility.
