Job summary

ENVEA in Longmont, CO seeks a full-time Service Technician to troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair laser-based optomechanical instruments used in weather, air quality, and related applications. The role requires hands-on experience with electronic test equipment and the ability to read wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.

You will collaborate with the customer support and development teams, travel up to 10% domestically, and maintain documentation and records to meet production and service

Qualifications

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical/electromechanical issues.
• Interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Hands-on experience with test equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, diagnostic tools).
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair laser-based optomechanical instruments.
• Provide customer support remotely and on-site at the facility.
• Assist in design, development, testing, and documentation of instrumentation.
• Collaborate with Business Development to deliver training and technical guidance.
• Safely handle and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Travel domestically up to 10% to support installations and service activities.
