Job summary

ENVEA in Longmont, CO is seeking a full-time Service Technician to troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair laser-based optomechanical instruments for customers at the manufacturing facility and on-site.

You will interpret drawings and schematics, perform QA activities, travel up to 10% domestically, and collaborate with the Business Development team to provide training and technical support. 2–6 years of related experience preferred; US work authorization required.

Qualifications

• 2 to 6 years of relevant industry experience.
• Ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical issues at component level.
• Experience reading mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, calibrate, quality assure, and repair laser-based optomechanical instruments to support production and service goals.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support, diagnose issues, and perform recalibrations for customers.
• Assist in design, development, testing, and documentation of instrumentation and procedures.
• Collaborate with the Business Development team to deliver training and application support.
• Safely handle and move equipment; travel domestically up to 10% as required.
