Job summary

Reddy Ice Holdings, Inc. in Phoenix seeks an ISB Technician to maintain and repair in-store baggers and ice makers, ensuring production meets customer demand.

You will apply lean methods, Kaizen and A3 tooling to drive continuous improvement across plants, stores and refurbishment centers. The role requires 2+ years of repair/service experience in electrical/mechanical refrigeration or plumbing, a valid driver's license, and a Journeyman certification or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years repair/service experience in electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, or plumbing.
• High School diploma or Journeyman Certification/License in Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical Disciplines, or equivalent experience.
• Basic computer and handheld skills needed; ability to follow reporting SOPs via handheld.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ISB machines to meet customer demand.
• Troubleshoots and repairs ice makers and baggers during service calls.
• Installs, replaces and removes ISB at customer locations.
• Performs preventive maintenance on ISB, including descaling and sanitizing.
• Reads blueprints and technical docs for equipment maintenance.
• Works at customer locations, plants, DCs, and refurbishment centers.
• Attends technician trainings and learns additional trade skills as directed.
• Keeps vehicle and tools in good order; manages spare parts inventory.
• Communicates with store staff to optimise ISB production and plan peak demand.
• Suggests SOP improvements to Field Equipment Service Manager.
• Maintains professional attitude and adheres to safety procedures.
• Team oriented and willing to take on other duties as assigned.
