Job summary

Reddy Ice is seeking a field technician to service and repair ice merchandisers at customer locations and company plants. You will perform preventive maintenance, installations, and removals, while maintaining tools and inventory. A valid driver’s license and EPA refrigeration certification are required.

Weekend or night work may be required in a fast-paced retail environment. You will work in teams, follow safety procedures, and participate in ongoing training to improve efficiency and service

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 or Universal refrigeration certification is required.
• High School diploma or trade school credential is required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct repairs and service calls on ice merchandisers.
• Install, replace, and remove ice merchandisers at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Maintain vehicle, tools, and spare parts inventory.
• Follow SOPs and participate in company trainings.
