Job summary

WOW! is hiring a Field Service Technician in Augusta, GA to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain WOW! services while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You’ll work independently, build technical skills, and enjoy competitive pay ($18.00-$24.00/hr), quarterly bonuses, a company vehicle, benefits, 401(k) with match, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement. Flexibility for evenings and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical customers.
• Ability to operate handheld technology and field service applications.
• Ability to read maps and navigate service areas.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, reconnect, disconnect, and modify internet, video, and phone services.
• Install and relocate outlets, converters, modems, and customer equipment.
• Run interior and exterior wiring.
• Diagnose signal, picture quality, and connectivity issues.
• Troubleshoot from the customer device to the network tap.
• Repair and replace network components and coaxial cable.
• Perform speed tests, ping tests, trace routes, and network diagnostics.
• Train customers on the proper use of equipment and services.
• Ensure compliance with FCC, NESC, OSHA, and WOW! standards.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Complete work orders and documentation accurately.
• Deliver outstanding customer service at every interaction.
