This is an intermediate level position responsible for operational compression jobs, including operation of compressor packages, gas processes, and rental equipment. The role involves troubleshooting, repairs, and maintaining equipment to ensure high availability.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate and perform job activities in line with Kodiak’s procedures.
2. Troubleshoot complex repairs and overhauls.
3. Build and maintain customer relationships.
4. Manage inventory and communicate with Supply Chain.
5. Ensure equipment availability of 98% or better.
6. Participate in HSE meetings and adhere to safety protocols.
7. Maintain cleanliness of units.
8. Complete required reports and documentation.
9. Provide 24/7 coverage, including overtime and on-call rotations.
10. Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: OEM, Trade School, or 2+ years related experience.
• Kodiak’s SSE program completion and 1-2 years in an entry-level technician role.
• 3+ years experience with compression processes and equipment.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of compressor systems, safety procedures, and relevant certifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license.

Physical Demands:

• Operate heavy equipment, stand, sit, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work in noisy environments, outdoors in extreme conditions, and in confined spaces.
• Wear PPE as required.
