Job Description

Our Field Service Technicians travel to customer sites to safely repair, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial and industrial dehumidification equipment. This role requires independence and strong diagnostic skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Travel to customer sites for service and support.
2. Diagnose and repair malfunctions on equipment.
3. Provide customer training on Munters equipment.
4. Submit detailed field service reports with technical feedback.
5. Communicate professionally with customers in person, written, and via phone.
6. Promote sales and service of company equipment.

Requirements

1. 3-5 years’ experience in commercial or industrial HVAC or HVAC/R vocational training.
2. Ability to travel extensively (80%) and via plane.
3. Ability to obtain CFC Certification within 90 days of hire.
4. Experience with HVAC/Refrigeration systems and components.
5. PLC experience (preferred).
6. Strong communication skills.
7. Basic electrical schematic knowledge.

Physical Requirements

1. Ability to exert up to 75 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds frequently.
2. Climbing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting.
3. Close visual acuity for data analysis, reading, etc.
4. Ability to lift up to 55 lbs with proper techniques.
5. Stand for long periods (up to 8 hours).

Work Conditions

1. Wearing PPE such as safety glasses, boots, hard hats, hearing protection.
2. Travel and stay away from home for several days.
3. On-call duties, weekends, holidays, outdoor work in all weather.
4. Work at heights and use safety equipment.

Education Requirements

1. HS Diploma or equivalent.
2. HVAC school or equivalent.
3. English language proficiency.

Preferred Skills/Certifications

1. HVAC/R with commercial/industrial experience.
2. Technical/trade school background.
3. EPA Universal/608 certification.
4. CFC License.
